Training – part II

The next stage of the “Exchange of specialist experience in order to improve mountain rescue structures in Georgia” project, is upon us!

In ten days, between October 20 and November 4, twelve young rescuers recruited in Georgia will attend trainings in the field of topography and work with GPS, along with elements of the work of a medical dispatcher.

The training will allow the exchange of knowledge between participants and the trainers. Participants using the newly acquired knowledge will take part in a field game and conduct a simulated rescue operation, this game will be an important element of the training . Participants who manage to complete the task best and most efficiently will receive prizes.

During last day of trainings there will be ceremony of decoration and workshop describing how does Mountain Rescue system works in each country.
The trainings will be carried out by instructors from: Specialized Services Department Geopl.eu ltd., Mountain Rescue in Georgia “Safety in the mountains”, Grupa Podhalańska GOPR, Horská služba ČR – oficiální stránka Jizerské Hory, Horská služba Pieninského národného park.
